I started when I was about 13 or 14,” she says. Her work has shaped her into the woman she is today. “It’s really where I got all my confidence from — you have to be comfortable around new people. You have to be confident in yourself so [that] you can perform.” It was around the same time as a teen where Brookliyn first heard of Playboy. “I was a kid. I had only heard references or people talking about it,” she says. Now, she’s proud to be a part of the brand. “My experience with Playboy thus far? It has been great. I’m excited to be a part of it. I think it celebrates women, and I love that.” Celebrating herself and other women is something very important to her. “Female empowerment to me means uplifting other women, supporting their endeavors, [and] letting women know it’s okay to the sexual beings without being judged,” she says thoughtfully.
